Continuous testing available at the National Testing Network facility.

The physical agility test will be administered to those candidates who successfully complete the written examination. The physical agility test will consist of:

  • Sit-ups - 27 within one minute
  • Push-ups - 18 (no time limit)
  • 1.5 mile run completed within 15 minutes and 20 seconds

The physical agility test is designed to evaluate a candidate's overall physical condition. This evaluation helps the Chandler Police Department determine if a candidate will be able to satisfactorily meet the ALEA Academy's fitness standards.

Second Physical Agility Test:

Before an applicant is scheduled for an interview with the Chief of Police, the applicant will need to pass a second physical agility test. The test requirements will be the same as the first and will be administered at the Chandler Police Departent. However the passing criteria will be as follows:

Sit-ups - 31 within one minute
Push-ups - 31 (no time limit)
1.5 mile run completed within 14 minutes and 29 seconds
